Pascack Valley Principal Mr. Tom DeMaio was recently awarded the Bergen Country Administrator of Excellence Award.

DeMaio was given this recognition by the Bergen County Principal’s and Supervisor’s Association to commemorate his accomplishments and actions as principal. Every year the organization recognizes administrators in the county for the work they do.

DeMaio was nominated by some of his peers. He had to submit a report detailing the happenings of Pascack Valley followed by a series of letters of recommendation from teachers, parents, and supervisors. He is one of two winners of the award in the county.

He credits the award to the rest of the school and to what everyone has done to make Pascack Valley the school that it is.

“It’s a reflection of what the teachers and students are accomplishing here on a daily basis,” DeMaio said.
