Megan Viganola bumps the ball up in a game last season. She is one of PV’s four senior starters in 2018.

Head coach: Kaitlyn Lewis

Last year’s record: 10-9

Key returnees: Laura Cubala (Sr.), Megan Viganola (Sr.), Corinne Herrmans (Sr.), Emma Kropp (Sr.),

Key losses: Devin Martinez, Nicole Arden, Sam Gibson, and Hannah Linton.

Key newcomers: Jenna Joroff (So.), Nicole Perrone (So.), Sam Tarna (So.), Shayne Flanagan (So.)

Strengths of team: “Since we have a lot of returning players, leadership will be one of our strengths,” Lewis said.

Areas that need improvement: Lewis wants her players to attack the ball and be a little bit more aggresive on the court. “Because our hitters are so young, I think they are not really up to the level that the bigger players in the county are, but they have a lot of potential and a lot of room to grow,” she said.

Outlook: “[The team has] a lot of potential and the seniors need to take a leadership role to help the sophomores to grow and they need to be able to step up to the plate and compete at the varsity level,” Lewis said.

Projected Starters:

  • Laura Cubala
  • Megan Viganola
