Singles one player Alexis Ban returns a hit in practice. This year’s singles group looks to make a positive impact on the Girls Tennis team.

Coach: Daniel Phillips

Last year’s record: 7-8

Key Returners:  Alexis Ban(Sr.), Jordyn  Ban(Soph.), Aimee Hoffman (Sr.)

Key Losses (specifically last year players who graduated): Amelia Welter, Sharanya Demarakonda

Strength and Weakness of team:

“We’re gonna need a bit of time on our doubles, as we’ve got quite a bit of new players who are new to that position, so our strengths right now are singles,” Phillips said.

Outlook on the season:

The girls tennis team looks to improve from a 7-8 record last year. The singles team has the best chance to do so by being competitive, mentally strong, and doing the right things on the court, which makes themselves difficult to beat. When it comes to doubles, Coach Phillips wants to take more of an aggressive approach, which will give them the best chance to be successful.
