Scott Morris bowls for Pascack Valley. The Indians defeated Tenafly on Wednesday by a score of 7-0.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Pascack Valley bowling team took on Tenafly at Montvale Lanes.

After an Indians’ win in the opening game, senior Trevor Lauber caught fire and came within one strike of another perfect game, after accomplishing the feat earlier this season. Valley emerged victorious in the second game as well, extending their lead to 4-0.

The Indians won the third and final game as well, and shut out Tenafly by a final of 7-0.

Despite the victory, Valley wasn’t especially happy with the way it performed. The Indians struggled to reach their normal averages at times, and would’ve liked to put forth a more dominant showing.

“[Today] we were a little lazy,” said PV coach Judy Lucia. “Not to say that’s an awful thing. But if that happens, today was a good day for it to happen.
