Megan Austin shares her opinion on the Marvel movie, Black Panther Wakanda Forever.

“Wakanda Forever” is a cinematic masterpiece through the music and plotline.

In the last movie, T’Challa, played by Chadwick Boseman, returns to Wakanda to take the throne after his father’s death. T’Challa becomes the Black Panther and is forced to protect the country from Killmonger who is challenging T’Challa and the country’s rule.

After Boseman died in 2020, Marvel cut Boseman out of the script for the new movie. Despite this, the directors paid tribute to Boseman in such a respectful way.

The movie begins with Shuri fighting to save her brother, T’Challa’s life.

Shuri’s brother doesn’t make it.

Throughout the movie, viewers are able to see how Shuri is trying to be a good sister and make her brother proud without being in the shadow of her brother.

I can appreciate how well Marvel commemorates Boseman and his character through the beginning of the movie.

The Marvel Team did a wonderful job acknowledging Boseman’s death throughout the movie.

It was quite long, as it was 2 hours and 41 minutes, but I was on the edge of my seat the whole time because of the excellent music and plot.

Like the first movie, the music in “Wakanda Forever” was impressive. There were intense drums right as the plot thickened.

Additionally, the music was exceptional after the death of T’Challa and when Shuri is forced to face Namor, the ruler of an underwater kingdom called Talocan.

Namor threatened Shuri and her family with war unless Wakanda agrees to take over the world with the Talocan kingdom.

The development of the plot was really appealing. I can appreciate how the suspense built up.

The actors created subtle hints that there would be a third movie, and after this amazing creation from Marvel, I have high expectations for the next movie.

Overall, I would give this movie 5/5 stars. This movie was so skillfully made, and I would watch it again in an instant.
