PVHS Girls soccer huddles up

TUESDAY, OCT 28

GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER GAME @ RIDGEWOOD | LOSS 2-1

Girls soccer lost to Ridgewood on Tuesday, and Allie Polyniak (Sr.) scored the team’s lone goal.

VARSITY VOLLEYBALL GAME @ BERGENFIELD | WIN 2-0

Volleyball improved its record to 10-10 after beating Bergenfield. Maddy Romero (Sr.) led the team with 17 digs.

BOYS SOCCER GAME VS RIDGEWOOD | LOSS 2-0

Boys soccer fell to 10-11 after their home loss to Ridgewood on Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY, OCT 29

VOLLEYBALL GAME @ Pascack HILLS| LOSS 2-1

Volleyball moved to 10-10 on the season. In the loss, Celia Torres (Sr.) had 23 assists, and Gianna Siller (So.) had 11 kills as well.

GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER GAME VS LYNDHURST| WIN 3-0

Girls varsity soccer moves to 15-4-1 on the season after a senior night win. Allie Polyniak (Sr.) had a hat trick in the blowout win.

FRIDAY, OCT 31

FOOTBALL GAME @ PASSAIC VALLEY| LOSS 35-34

Pascack Valley lost in the first round of the playoffs to a last-second touchdown drive from Passaic Valley.

Saturday, Nov 1

Boys Soccer @ Ramsey|LOSS 3-0

Boys Valley Soccer lost by three in the B.I.T. final to Ramsey. Despite going into the second half all tied, Ramsey went on to score 3 goals and win the game

As a junior, Nathan Faber has been a member of The Valley Echo for two years and is now a Sports Editor. He has always enjoyed writing for the paper, and enjoys reading articles on football, basketball, and baseball. He has been on the Varsity Tennis Team since his freshman year. He is also a member of the Chess Club, Bee Club, This Week in Politics, and Habitat for Humanity. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, playing tennis, and golf. He hopes to continue writing more articles this year.

Matt Rilli is a senior who joined The Valley Echo in his junior year. Matt is a Sports Editor for The Echo this year. He is also involved in other activities at Valley, such as the Baseball Team, Basketball Team, Camp Raspberry, and Investment Club. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and golfing.
