Monday 10/31

Girls Volleyball @ Pascack Hills/ 2 – 0 WIN

The Girl’s Volleyball team had its Quarterfinal matchup against Pascack Hills on Monday afternoon. Valley won in two sets, 25-21 and 25-22. Sabrina Arcilla had 14 digs and Noelle Solimano recorded 6 kills.

Boys Soccer vs. Elmwood Park/3-0 WIN

The Boy’s Soccer team had its Quarterfinal matchup at home against Elmwood Park. Valley ended up winning this game 3-0 with goals from Ethan Schwartz, Nolan Wasserman, and Shane Feder all occurring in the second half.

Tuesday 11/1

Girls Soccer @ Riverdell/ 1-0 LOSS

The Girl’s Soccer team lost in the semifinals against River Dell in a tight contest. This loss eliminated them from the NJSIAA Tournament. The only goal of the game came from River Dell’s Brianna Azevedo with less than a minute in the game.

Wednesday 11/2

Boys Soccer @ Glen Rock/ 3-0 WIN

The Boy’s Soccer team won their semifinal round game against Glen Rock 3-0. Some notable performances came from Steven Gifford with 1 goal and Shane Feder with 2 goals, both coming in the second half. 

Thursday 11/3

Girls Volleyball @ Riverdell/ 2-0 LOSS

Pascack Valley Volleyball lost its semifinal round game 2-0 to Riverdell. The girls lost in two sets 25-17 and 25-17. Sabrina Arcilla finished with 14 digs, and Jillian Feeley had 6 kills.

Football @ Passaic Valley/ 22-21 WIN

The boys played in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA Regional Invitational Tournament on Thursday night. Valley came out on top of a close match, with a crucial two-point conversion caught by Brandon Flanagan to seal the win. Jake Crawbuck finished with 219 passing yards along with three passing touchdowns.

Saturday 11/5

Boys Soccer @ Ramsey/2-1 Loss

The boys lost in the finals of the North Jersey, Section 1, Group 2 NJSIAA Tournament. It was a back and forth contest the entire game, but Ramsey ended up on top—with Jason Balbuena scoring both of the team’s goals. Michael Criscuolo gave Valley its only goal of the game on a free kick in which he headed in.
