SOFTBALL STATE GAME VS. MAHWAH | Win, 6-0

Valley softball moves on in the state tournament after a big home win against Mahwah. Ashley Witkowski (So.) hit a leadoff home run for Valley, leading to a dominant performance.

TENNIS STATE MATCH VS. MONTVILLE | Loss, 3-2

Pascack Valley tennis’s season comes to an end after a tough loss to a talented Montville team. Despite the team’s loss, Luke Melconian (Jr.) and Wojciech Piotrowski (Sr.) won their match 6-2, 6-3.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 27

BASEBALL STATE GAME VS. SPARTA | Loss, 3-2

Pascack Valley baseball’s season comes to an end after an upset loss to Sparta. Valley recorded five total hits in the game.

GIRLS LACROSSE STATE GAME VS. HACKETTSTOWN | Win, 17-4

Girls lacrosse secured a dominant win to keep their season alive. Jenna Reinhart (Sr.) led both teams in scoring with a seven-point game.

THURSDAY, MAY 28

BOYS LACROSSE STATE GAME VS. SOMERVILLE | Win, 11-4

Boys lacrosse advances in the state tournament with a win against Somerville. Brendan Haller (Jr.) anchored the defense with 16 saves while allowing only three goals.

SOFTBALL STATE GAME VS. PASCACK HILLS | Win, 10-2

Pascack Valley softball moves on in the state tournament. Caliana Dembowski (Sr.) led the offense with three RBIs and a home run.

As a junior, Nathan Faber has been a member of The Valley Echo for two years and is now a Sports Editor. He has always enjoyed writing for the paper, and enjoys reading articles on football, basketball, and baseball. He has been on the Varsity Tennis Team since his freshman year.
