Strength of the team: “Pitching will definitely be our strength and defense. I think we’re going to play pretty good defense, which is relaxing for a pitcher.”
Weakness of the team: “I don’t know if there’s weaknesses as opposed to just it’s going to be a different style… we’re not going to be able to hit 25-30 home runs… I’m trying to replace like 85 RBIs.”
Outlook on the season: “I expect this to be competitive every single day. We have a very tough schedule as usual and we play, we play probably, four or five of the best schools in the best teams in the entire state.”
Coach’s comment: “I don’t expect any less success out of us… somebody else has to step up, which has kind of been our motto all year long… we’ll go from there.”
