Wednesday, September 28th

Girls Volleyball @Teaneck, Win 2-0

Girls Volleyball defeated Teaneck in two sets, winning the first 25-10 and the second 25-15.

Girls Tennis @Demarest, Loss 5-0

Girls Tennis lost in 5 sets to an undefeated Demarest team.

Girls Soccer @Teaneck, Win 7-1

Girls Soccer extended its winning streak to four games in its game against Teaneck on Wednesday. Amanda Polyniak led the way with two goals; Julia Conjour, Ella Saxon, Tori Criscuolo, Allie Polyniak, and Vanessa Rack each had one goal.

Boys Soccer vs.Teaneck, Win 6-0

The Boys Soccer Team celebrated Senior Night with a 6-0 win over Teaneck. Boys soccer improves its unbeaten run to five games. Sean Slevin had a hat trick, Ethan Schwartz had two goals, and Jimmy Shea added one to lead Valley to the win.

Thursday, September 29th

Cross Country Meet @ Lake Darlington

Cross Country finished in second place in its meet on Thursday. The team came close to winning, only losing to the first place Teaneck by three points.

Friday, September 30th

Girls Tennis vs. Tenafly, 5-0 Loss

The Girls Tennis team fell to Tenafly in five sets on Friday.

Saturday, October 1st

Boys Football vs. Demarest, Win 42-35

The Pascack Valley Football Team celebrated its seniors by picking up its first win of the season, in a 42-35 win in overtime. Jake Crawbuck connected with Connor Higgins for three touchdowns, and Kevin Regula and Quinn Flanagan combined for three touchdowns on the ground to lead Valley to the win.

Boys Soccer vs. Lyndhurst, 3(4)-3(3) Win, (Parentheses indicate score on penalties)

Boys Soccer opened up its county tournament run with a win against Lyndhurst. Robbie Wasserman, Shane Feder, and Sean Stewart each had a goal in regulation. After being up 3-1 at the end of the first half, Lyndhurst scored two in the second half, pushing the game to overtime. No goals were scored in either overtime period, sending the game to penalties. Goalie Julian Pilet made two crucial saves, setting up Shane Feder for his game-winning kick. Valley will face Ramsey on Thursday in the second round of the Bergen County Tournament.

Cross Country suffered a loss at the New Balance Shore Coaches Invitational.

Sunday, October 2nd

Girls Soccer vs. Mahwah, 2-1 Win

The Girls Soccer team played in the first round of the county tournament in Ridgewood, against Mahwah on Sunday afternoon. With no scoring in the first half, a goal by each team in the second half pushed the game into overtime. At the end of the second overtime period, and the game still knotted at one, the game went into penalty kicks. Julia Conjour netted the winner in penalties, following her second period goal—assisted by Tara Stewart—that tied the game at one. Allison Varghese made one save in the shootout. Valley will face Ridgewood on Saturday in the second round.
