 Key Matchups:

West Milford WRs Corey Curran, Austin Hopler, and Noah Provenzano vs. PV secondary: All three receivers had over 100 yards receiving last week. The Indians secondary will have to keep them at bay in order to win the game. Curran is a dual threat player, who had two receiving TDs and one rushing TD last week. He looks to be the most crucial part of West Milford’s offense.

West Milford QB Aaron Furnbach vs. PV defense linemen and linebackers. Last week, he threw for over 350 yards and 3 TDs. The Indian defenders must keep Furnbach in the pocket, as he also had 8 rushing attempts for 41 yards. If the Indians can put Furnbach on his back, it will be a successful day.

The PV Offensive Line vs. West Milford Defensive Front 7: The line has to play like they did in the first two games in order to keep the run game moving and their QB safe. Last week, West Milford defender Erik Ostland recorded 11 tackles and 1 sack. The West Milford defense also forced one fumble. The O-line must not allow Ostland to penetrate the line to allow running room for RBs Jorge Cortes and Rocco Swatek and time in the pocket for QB Colin Dedrick.

PV Perspective: After a tough loss against possibly the best opponent they will face this year, the Indians look to bounce back against a team they are 4-0 against all-time and beat last year 41-0. The Indians look to give another pounding to West Milford this year in order to regain momentum for the rest of the season.
