Key Returners: Keira O’Cathain (So.), Raina Gibbs (Jr.), Emma Costello (Jr.), Danielle Regula (Jr.), Sophia Dalton (Sr.), Sydney Lamere (Sr.), Ava Anastasi (Sr.), Riley Hirsch (Sr.), Bella Pena (Sr.), Alex Kesselman (Sr.), Abby Comer (Sr.), Angelina Graham (Sr.), Mia Boretti (Sr.).
Key Newcomers: Victoria DaCosta (So.), Quinn McCarthy (So.).
Strength and Weakness of the team:
“I think the strength is going to be our quickness and defense,” Jasper said. “We also have a lot of kids, run the floor, push the pace, and play a lot of kids and keep fresh legs out on the court.”
Jasper only emphasized one key weakness for the girls: “I think our biggest weakness is going to be putting points on the board.” One thing Jasper also said was that the team definitely won’t be weak in diving on the floor for loose balls.
“They will show a lot of grit and they’re tough, and I’m going to need it, because grit and toughness will make up for a lot of deficiencies that we have,” Jasper said.
Outlook on the season:
Even though it is a new season, Coach Jasper’s outlook is the same as it’s always been: “We want to be better today then we were yesterday and be better tomorrow then we are today,” Jasper said. “It’s not about how much you win or lose, it’s judged by how much you improve.”
Coaches comment:
“I’m excited. They’re all great kids, and hopefully [the season] will be pretty good,” Jasper said.
