Key Newcomers: “The team will depend on the emergence of sophomores Gavin Franklin, Novak Wilder, and Grayson Wheeler,” Cosgrove said.
Strength of the team: “Pascack Hockey returns the majority of its offensive production in Jack Sheehan [25 goals and 26 assists for a total of 51 points] and Owen Dargan [15 goals and 27 assists for a total of 42 points],” he stated. “Several key players return from last year’s team, who will be expected to fill the gap of those players lost to graduation.”
Weakness of the team: “[We] graduated most of our starting defensemen,” Cosgrove said. “Sophomore Marty Tarabocchia will be expected to shoulder much of the load and help those new defensemen transition into bigger roles.”
Outlook on the season: “Despite graduating a good number of players, I fully expect us to compete for leagues again after winning our first league title in over 20 years,” said Cosgrove.
