Strengths of the team: “We have a lot of returners,”Bacsik said. “We are a young team [with] freshmen, sophomores, and some juniors jumbled in. We have a good core group [of players].”
Areas that need improvement: “We need to fill the gaps of center field and first base,” Bacsik said. “We [must] gain confidence with a younger team.”
Coach’s comment: “We have a lot of talent,” Bacsik said. “[We have] more experienced pitchers, and I am confident that this team will go far in the county tournament. I am very excited for this year.”
