Pascack Valley Wrestling won its closest match of the season to move to 9-0 on the season. The Panthers started off slowly, going down 17-0; however, thanks to winning 9 of their last 11 matchups, they got the win.
Wrestling at Passaic Tech | Win 53-16
Pascack Valley Wrestling won its tenth straight match and had six pins in the win. Alex Bainbridge (Sr.) had the quickest pin in 1 minute and 8 seconds.
Tuesday, January 6
Girls Basketball vs. Teaneck | Loss 51-38
Pascack Valley fell to Teaneck, losing its third game of the season. Going into halftime, Valley was down 17-16, but, after a dominant third quarter, Teaneck pulled away. In the loss, Keira O’Cathain (So.) scored 13 points.
Bowling Match vs. Bergen Tech | Win 5-2
The Panthers got one of their most crucial wins of the season on Tuesday. In the win, Valley continued its dominance as the team has only lost 2 sets all season. Lucas Mercado (Jr.) led the team, bowling a 688 in the win.
Pascack Swim VS Indian Hills | Boys win 91-76; Girls win 106-76
Both girls and boys swimming got the win against Indian Hills. In total, both teams placed first in 14 races. Amanda Bramley (Sr.) placed first in all four of her races.
Boys Basketball vs. Teaneck | Loss 67-51
In Valley’s first game in the Big North this season, the boys fell to a very talented Teaneck team. The Panthers move to a record of 3-5.

Wrestling @ Demarest | Win 68-11
Pascack Valley dominated in the win. The Panthers are now 2-0 in the Big North and tied for first in the division. Adan Cedeno (Sr.) got the match-leading pin in 42 seconds.
Thursday, January 8
Pascack Swim @ Passaic County Technical Institute| Boys Loss 110-60; Girls Loss 111-59
Both boys and girls swim fell to Passaic County Technical Institute. In total, Pascack Swim placed first in six events.
Girls Basketball @ Tenafly | Win 58-10
Girls Basketball picked up its first Big North win of the season, now moving to 1-1 in the division. Raina Gibbs (Jr.) was the highest scorer in the game, scoring 13 points.
Boys Varsity Basketball vs. Tenafly| Loss 74-49
The Panthers suffered another tough loss. Valley is now 3-6 on the season and 0-2 in the Big North division.
Friday, January 9
Pascack Hockey vs. Clifton| Win 4-1
Pascack Hockey got the job done against Clifton 4-1 and moved to 8-2 on the season. Goalie Tyler Rothschild (So.) accumulated 31 saves, and Owen Dargan (Sr.) led the charge on the offensive side with 3 points (1 goal and 2 assists).
Wrestling vs. Teaneck| Win 71-12
The PV Wrestling Team demolished Teaneck in a Friday night match 71-12. Trevor Grageda (Sr.) pinned his opponent in 26 seconds, which was the fastest pin in the match.
Saturday, January 10
Girls Basketball vs. Indian Hills| Win 52-29
Pascack Valley Girls Basketball continues a great season and moves to 6-3 after taking down Indian Hills, 52-29. Raina Gibbs (Jr.) led the charge for the PV offense scoring 22 points.
Boys Basketball Benefit Tournament vs. Dumont| Win 57-48
Pascack Valley Boys Basketball got another win under its belt and moved to a record of 4-6. Liam Higgins (Sr.) was the leading scorer with 13 points, Dante DaCosta (Sr.) finished the game with 12 points, and Evan Gallucci (Jr.) accumulated 10 points in the win.
