Monday, Apr. 1.

Girls Lacrosse vs. Indian Hills | WIN 14-5

The Girls Lacrosse Team picked up its first win of the season by a score of 14-5 over Indian Hills. Ella Saxon (Jr.) led the way for the Panthers with 4 goals. Jenna Reinhart (So.) and Mia Boretti (So.) each picked up 3 goals in the win. 

Golf vs. Westwood | WIN 194-203

The Golf Team extended its winning streak to three games by winning 194-203 against Westwood. Luke Dolan (Jr.) led the way for Valley with a score of 41.  Aidan O’Brien (Sr.), Ethan Ross (Jr.), and Liam Verdicchio (Fr.) all shot a 51 in the win.

Softball @ Ramapo | LOSS 7-6

The softball team suffered an extra-inning defeat in its season opener against Ramapo.

Tuesday, Apr. 2

Boys Lacrosse @ West Milford | WIN 16-5

Boys Lacrosse defeated West Milford, 16-5, in its season opener. Joey Dargan (Jr.) led in scoring with four goals, while Joe Massaro (Jr.) had three goals in the victory.

Wednesday, Apr. 3

Thursday, Apr. 4

Girls Lacrosse vs. River Dell | WIN 12-4

Girls Lacrosse moved to 2-0 on the young season with its 12-4 win over River Dell on Thursday. Courtney Pelisson (Jr.) scored a game-high six goals, while Ella Saxon (Jr.) had three goals in the winning effort. The Panthers take on Wayne Valley in their next matchup on Monday.

Boys Lacrosse @ Montville | WIN 10-5

Gannon Strother (Jr.) made 15 saves in the boys lacrosse 10-5 victory over Montville. Joey Dargan (Jr.) scored three goals, and Donnie Duffus (Jr.) had two goals.

Friday, Apr. 5

Baseball @ Paramus | WIN 10-0

The baseball team defeated Paramus in its season-opener by a score of 10-0. J.T. DeRiso (Jr.) pitched a shutout, recording nine strikeouts and four hits in six innings of work. 

Softball @ Teaneck | WIN 4-3

The softball team picked up its first win of the season, defeating Teaneck 4-3. Alexandra Siller (So.) logged the win, recording 15 strikeouts in seven innings. Ashley Diaz notched a team-high two hits, both singles, as well as a walk in the winning effort. The Panthers will look to make it two-in-a-row versus Old Tappan on Monday.

Saturday, Apr. 6

Baseball vs. Don Bosco | LOSS 10-2

After an opening-day win, Baseball fell to nationally ranked Don Bosco, by a score of 10-2. Andrew Wallace (Sr.), who pitched 3.2 innings and let up six runs, recorded the loss. Despite the loss, Brendan Gaskin (So.) went three-for-three on the day with three singles. The Panthers will look to bounce back against Bergenfield on Monday.

Boys Lacrosse vs. St. Joe’s | WIN 9-4

The Boys Lacrosse Team remained perfect on the season with its 9-4 win over St. Joe’s (Mont.), which moved the squad to 3-0 on the season. Donnie Duffus (Jr.) scored a team-high three goals, while Gannon Strother (Jr.) recorded six saves in the winning effort. The Panthers will look to keep it going against Pequannock on Tuesday.
