Monday, Feb. 12 

Girls Basketball vs. Paramus Catholic | WIN 68-51

Girls Basketball was victorious in a contest with Paramus Catholic. Celina Bussanich (Jr.) led the team with 23 points and Ava Burke (Jr.) had 16 points. 

Boys Basketball vs. Pascack Hills | WIN 59-38

Boys Basketball defeated the Broncos in a rivalry matchup by a score of 59-38. Devin Merker (Jr.) led the way for Valley, scoring a team-high of 21 points. Shane Buoye (Sr.) added 18 points and Liam Higgins (So.) had 12 points.

Girls Swimming @ Ridgewood | LOSS 104-66

Girls Swimming’s season came to an end after its 104-66 loss in the NJSIAA North 1 Group A semi-final. The Panthers finished with a record of 9-1.

Tuesday, Feb. 13

Wednesday, Feb. 14

Ice Hockey @ Ramapo | WIN 4-2

Pascack Hockey defeated Ramapo 4-2 in the Big North Gold Cup Semifinal Round. Zach Groves (Sr.) had two goals while Owen Dargan (So.) and Christian Grubic (Sr.) added one goal each. 

Thursday, Feb. 15

Girls Basketball @ Ramsey | WIN 57-42

Girls Basketball beat Ramsey by a score of 57-42 in a tightly contested battle. Ava Burke had 22 points, while Celina Bussanich added 19. 

Boys Basketball Vs. DePaul Catholic | Loss 71-67

Boys Basketball fell to DePaul 71-67 at home. Devin Merker (Jr.) had a career-high 36 points, and Shane Buoye had 17. The Panthers will face Teaneck on Feb. 22 in the state tournament’s opening round.

Friday, Feb. 16

Boys Bowling vs Sussex Tech | WIN 2-0

Boys Bowling advanced to the semi-finals in the NJSIAA North Jersey Section 1 Group 2 tournament with a 2-0 win over Sussex Tech. The team knocked down 2,046 pins in the match. Lucas Mercado (Fr.) had a team-high 453 pins and Joe Devanna (Sr.) had 433 pins.

Girls Basketball vs West Milford | WIN 72-49

Girls Basketball extended its winning streak to three games after a 72-49 win. Celina Bussanich (Jr.) had 23 points in the win, surpassing 1,000 career points. Ava Burke (Jr.) led the team in scoring with 31 points and added 23 rebounds in the win. The Panthers’ next matchup will be in the first round of the state tournament on Feb. 22 at Morris Knolls.

Ice Hockey @ Passaic Tech | LOSS 5-1 

Pascack Hockey fell in the Big North Gold Cup finals by a score of 5-1. The team’s lone goal was scored by Zachary Groves (Sr.). Yulianna Krol (Jr.) had 29 saves in the contest.

Saturday, Feb. 17

NJSIAA District 3 Wrestling Tournament @ Pascack Valley

Wrestling competed in the NJSIAA District 3 Wrestling Tournament. The team finished in second place with 163.5 points in total. Individually, Adan Cedeno (So. 126) and Julian Morris (Sr. 175) finished in first place as Dylan Biegel (So. 113), Luke Stempkowski (Fr. 132), and George Hamilton (Jr. 150) finished in second place. Johnny Allmers (Sr. 120), Antonio Cedeno (Sr. 138), Ennis Feratovic (Sr. 215), and Jayson Fouche (Sr. 285) finished in third place.
